Amazon Selling More Kindle Books than Hard Covers!

Amazon has disclosed that its Kindle ebooks sales have surpassed the sales of its print books including paperback and hardcover books.
Amazon started selling hardcover and paperback editions in 1995. Kindle was introduced in 2007. The Kindle book sales outnumbered hardcover book sales in July 2010, and now Kindle book sales have surpassed the paperback books.

Since April 1, Amazon has sold 105 Kindle books for every 100 print books sold. These numbers do not include the free Kindle books, otherwise the Kindle books count would have been higher.

Amazon has experienced incredible growth in terms of sale of Kindle books..

    Kindle books are definitely the way to go. Some authors are selling hundreds of thousands – four have even sold a million to date – because the traffic is so huge. People go to the Kindle Store to buy. Now is the time to start publishing books, ebooks and short reports on Kindle.
